for moving mountains
If you need to gain the momentum for big changes in your community, Thrive can help you create and manage effective educational campaigns, communication strategies, and policy pushes. As a concerned citizen, Jeanette has helped to lead the fight against a proposed asphalt plant in Hamburg, NY and has given guidance to other communities looking to do the same. She has organized breast cancer survivors to tackle primary pollution issues in Western New York on behalf of Breast Cancer Action, and co-facilitated a community-led task force to put forth resident policy recommendations on vacant lot reuse in the city of Buffalo. If you want to make a big change in your community, contact us and we'll talk through all of the possibilities.
life coaching for grief and loss
In addition to having a professional background in trauma counseling and adult education, Jeanette has lived experience in grief and loss integration and adaptation. Widowed suddenly in 2014, she was left to parent two young children who were overwhelmed with grief. She has spent the last six years distilling learning from this experience into her new teaching memoir and has also decided, after requests from community members, to offer life coaching to the widowed community.
